Pogo to be realigned

LONDON-Pogo Technology Ltd., which sold a unique mobile phone/personal digital assistants to consumers in the United Kingdom through a deal with Carphone Warehouse, will get a name change and new business focus in conjunction with its new investment team.

Pogo Mobile Solutions, as the company’s now called, will be run by Ran Mokady, a former Microsoft Corp. director. It will quit selling its wireless device and will now work to license its GPRS device platform to other manufacturers.

“We have acquired some great technology and a highly experienced team of specialists and plan to transform this business into a successful IP licensing operation,” Mokady said.
