GLENDALE, Calif.-Just in time for the holiday season, AT&T Wireless Services Inc. and Nextel Communications Inc. will begin offering a Java-based action game that puts players inside Santa’s sleigh, guiding the jolly old elf on his Christmas delivery route.
“We produced ‘Nitro Nick’ anticipating a lot of Java handsets being sold as gifts,” said Chris Young, chief creative officer at Animobile, the company that developed the application. “We felt consumers would want a fun, engaging game that takes fullest advantage of the rich images and game-play of these new devices.”
