LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Corp. said it will be the first U.S. operator to introduce Kyocera Wireless Corp.’s 7135 smartphone on its network this week bolstering its handset lineup in time for the holiday season.
The 7135 handset, which is expected to sell for $500, incorporates Palm Inc.’s 4.1 operating system, 16 megabytes of built-in memory and an expansion slot for additional storage, a color display, assisted GPS, a MP3 player and is cdma2000 1x compatible.
