IRVINE, Calif.-Boost Mobile, the mobile virtual network operator for Nextel Communications Inc., announced it will partner with Go2 Directory Systems to offer location-based directory services to the youth market.
The companies said they will offer services for users to search for local entertainment spots, attractions, shopping and other services.
“As the first true youth brand in the wireless market, Boost Mobile’s vision is to fill a necessary gap in today’s wireless service offerings with a product specifically tailored for young, active people,” said Peter Adderton, the company’s chief executive officer. “Go2 is enabling us to accommodate our customers’ on-the-go lifestyles and bring convenience and simplicity to their everyday purchasing decisions.”
The service costs 20 cents a day.
