BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless unveiled a text-messaging contest allowing customers to enter for a chance to win a trip to Cancun, Mexico; one of 40 Motorola Inc. T720 handsets; or one of 40 $100 gift certificates.
The contest is open to Verizon Wireless customers with two-way text-messaging-capable handsets, with drawings scheduled to held in February, March and April.
Verizon Wireless also announced that customers who sign up for its text-messaging service will receive unlimited messages and alerts for $3 per month through June.
