OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-Sprint PCS introduced an on-demand video information application for its Vison service allowing customers to watch news, finance, weather, sports and entertainment programming from their wireless handsets.
The 1KTV multimedia service is a downloadable J2ME application and uses a slide show format with streaming audio to provide information. Sprint PCS said the information is delivered through 1KTV for $4 for 30 days.
