DENVER-Qwest Communications International Inc. reported a 15.7 percent drop in wireless revenues for the fourth quarter of 2002, falling from $198 million during the final three months of 2001 to $167 million for the same quarter last year. For the year, wireless revenues increased 2.3 percent from $700 million in 2001 to $716 million last year.
Total wireless customers dropped more than 7 percent from 1.116 million at the end of 2001 to 1.034 million at the end of last year. Average revenue per user also fell nearly 12 percent from $51 during the fourth quarter of 2001 to $45 last year.
