TRENTON, N.J.-Rating agency Standard and Poor’s has removed Lucent Technologies Inc. from its credit watch list, explaining that the vendor’s cash flow has stabilized in spite of the challenges ahead.
“Lucent faces rapidly evolving markets, which could impair its ability to sustain recent revenue levels and impede its ability to execute its plans to achieve and maintain profitability in coming quarters,” said S&P’s credit analyst Bruce Hyman, adding that “ratings could still be lowered.”
