TOKYO-Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, a joint venture of Sony and Ericsson, on Tuesday released the firm’s first mobile handset with Quick Share functionality. The Quick Share technology will let users share pictures they take with the built-in cameras with friends.
The T610 a65K handset also features Phone Flash, which will lets users take pictures in dimly lit environments. The handset has standby time of up to 315 hours and talk time of up to 14 hours. The handset is scheduled to hit the market in quarter two in Europe, Asia and United States.
Sony Ericsson also released the T608, the first CDMA handset with built-in Bluetooth functionality. It also has a built-in headset, the HBM-30, which has a slot for Memory Stick Duo, a memory media developed by Sony. The handset will hit the market in the latter half of 2003.
