KANATA, Ontario – Bridgewater Systems has introduced the Wi-Fi Service Manager, which allows carriers to centrally monitor and manage thousands of enterprise sites while providing, secure, controlled access to enterprise wireless local area networks for employees and visitors.
“Enterprises have shown enthusiasm for WLANs for a number of reasons . but small and mid-size enterprises typically lack IT resources to deploy and maintain WLANs . (and) they often experience security problems when opening up WLANs to individuals outside their companies,” said Russ Freen, chief technology officer.
