SAN JOSE, Calif.-Mobile satellite services provider Globalstar launched the Globalstar FAU-200, a new fixed phone unit in the United States that it said offers satellite voice communications at half the price of its earlier fixed units.
The phone, which retails at $999, is a weather-proof fixed phone unit that can be installed in almost any outdoor location.
