NEW ORLEANS-Logitech showcased its line of mobile-phone headsets at CTIA Wireless 2003 focused on three groups of people-teenagers, family connectors and road warriers.
Logitech said its Over-Ear Blue and Over-Ear Red headsets are targeted at teenagers who are looking for stylish headsets. Family connectors need headsets that are easy to put on and work well while driving. The company is targeting its Mobile Earbud Premium and Mobile Earbud Retractable headsets at that group. Finally, the company is targeting its Mobile Earbud Miniboom headset at road warriers who need high-quality sound.
The headsets are available through Brightpoint outlets.
In other news, Logitech said Verizon Wireless customers now can use their wireless phone to view live Webcam images using the Logitech Mobile Video service. Verizon customers with a Get It Now-enabled phone can view live images from personal or public Web cameras from their handsets.
