NEW YORK-Wireless marketing company Enpocket announced it will conduct a detailed text-messaging campaign through a new deal with 20th Century Fox for its upcoming movie “Phone Booth.”
Enpocket said the promotion will kick off with a text message to all of the members of the FoxTxt club, inviting them to see a free special preview of the movie. The second part of the campaign includes 30,000 matchbooks, which will be distributed across 18 university campuses offering the opportunity to win one of five Motorola Inc. mobile phones.
“Phone Booth has a compelling plot well suited to promotion through mobile marketing,” said Clare MacIntosh, Fox’s marketing manager. “The intrigue created by this work through Enpocket will certainly help pull people to the movie.”
