ALPHRETTA, Ga.-Verizon Wireless launched its branded service in Macon, Columbus, Griffin, Warner Robins, Augusta and Thomaston, Ga., and Auburn, Montgomery and Dothan, Ala.
The markets were part of Verizon Wireless’ acquisition of Price Communications Corp. and required Verizon Wireless to replace the former TDMA network with CDMA infrastructure.
