SOMERSET, N.J.-Independent retail agent American Cellular reported that its multimillion dollar lawsuit against Cingular Wireless L.L.C. and its former group of operating companies is scheduled to go to trial next month in the U.S. District Court for New Jersey in Trenton.
American Cellular claims in its suit that Cingular and its former operating companies committed breaches of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, breach of covenants of good faith and fair dealings, and that it was further damaged by illegally terminating its contract without proper cause.
