NEW DELHI, India-Bharti Tele-Ventures, India’s leading private telecom company, on Thursday announced completion of the merger of Bharti Mobitel Limited, a company running the mobile service operations in Kolkata, with Bharti Cellular Limited.
Bharti Cellular is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Tele-Ventures and holds licenses for providing cellular mobile services in nine circles. Bharti Cellular had earlier acquired a 100-percent stake of Spice Cell in Kolkata. The company has more than 200,000 customers in Kolkata.
