SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Somera Communications, which provides equipment asset management programs, reported a number of deals with rural wireless operators ahead of this week’s Rural Cellular Association Conference.
The company announced it will supply its Redeployment Planning, Equipment Placement and Valuation, Equipment Supply and Equipment Deployment services for Ramcell of Kentucky’s 30-cell-site TDMA network in Kentucky, Oregon and North Carolina.
Somera also announced it will provide its Equipment Supply service to Carolina West Wireless, which Somera said would increase the digital channel network capacity for the carrier’s more than 56-cell-site TDMA network.
In addition, Somera said it would support Illinois Valley Cellular’s plans to overlay its current TDMA network with CDMA technology.
