CHICAGO-PCTel Inc., which provides 802.11 mobility software and software defined radio products, reported revenues of $13.1 million for the first quarter, compared with revenues of $10.3 million reported during the first quarter last year.
The company reported a net loss of $900,000, or 5 cents per diluted share, which reflects a charge of $1.1 million for costs related to its acquisition of Dynamic Telecommunications Inc.
During the first quarter, PCTel repurchased 485,400 shares of its stock as part of a stock buyback program.
