LOUISVILLE, Ky.-U.S. Wireless Online Inc., which provides wireless last-mile high-speed Internet access, said it completed its reorganization as a public company, and its stock began trading on the Over The Counter (OTC) Bulletin Board May 19.
In addition, the company announced its first non-line-of-sight metro-wide network overbuild. U.S. Wireless Online owns and operates wireless metro-area networks in Kentucky, Georgia, Ohio and Indiana.
U.S. Wireless Online began operations in 1990 in Atlanta and acquired the wireless business of Darwin Inc. in May 2001. The company offers three products, including high-speed Internet access, Wi-Fi networks and broadband connections in convention centers via unlicensed frequencies.
