REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-Openwave Systems Inc. announced the availability of the Openwave Mobile SDK Version 1.5, formerly known as the Openwave Mobile Developer Toolkit, and the inclusion of the Borland Jbuilder Java development environment in the product.
“Mobile developers rely on best-in-breed development environments and have come to rely on Openwave Mobile SDK, so relationships with companies like Borland help to provide a complete set of tools to allow developers to build Java-based applications quickly and easily,” said Gina Centoni, vice president of Openwave’s Developer Network.
According to Openwave, more than 650,000 developers have downloaded the Openwave Mobile SDK to create applications compatible with the Openwave Mobile Browser, found on more than 380 million handsets.
