STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Teleca has licensed its Obigo mobile suite, a software package that includes technologies for mobile browsing, messaging and content management, to Chinese consumer electronics supplier Legend.
Legend, which began producing and marketing mobile phones a year ago under the brand name Lenovo, will initially incorporate Teleca’s browser solution in its new G820 phone. “The Obigo mobile suite is designed for the latest and future mobile handheld devices,” said Liu Zhijun of Legend. “We need a browser for the future with rich functionality, quality and support for the new G820 phone.”
