BOSTON-Newbury Networks Inc. released WiFi Watchdog 2.0, a location-based software solution capable of securing enterprise networks against wireless intruders, at this week’s 802.11 Planet Conference and Exposition.
The solution monitors and secures the location of all 802.11 traffic on any wireless local area network and alerts information technology personnel of potential intruder actions based on the identification of unauthorized 802.11 devices or rogue access points.
