REDMOND, Wash.-Microsoft Corp.’s stock was up slightly after it reported another solid quarter, with its revenues up 11 percent over the same quarter last year to $8.07 billion. The company’s net income was $1.92 billion, up from the $1.53 billion in the same quarter last year.
Microsoft’s stock was up about 1 percent to $26.90 per share.
In the company’s mobile and embedded devices business division-which includes sales of its Pocket PC- and Smartphone-based wireless devices-Microsoft reported revenues of $44 million for the quarter, up from the $36 million it scored in the same quarter last year.
