DUBAI, United Arab Emirates-Motorola Inc. said it has signed an agreement with Jordan mobile carrier Fastlink to pilot its GPRS press-to-talk solution.
The vendor described it as the first of a series of trials and demonstrations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
“Mobile usage in Jordan is predicted to more than double in the next three years,” said Mohammad Saqer, chief executive officer of Fastlink. “PTT service will help our customers to stay connected, informed and efficient in this fast developing market.”
