Companies collaborate on antenna for hearing impaired

SAN FRANCISCO-Myers Johnson Inc. and Centurion Wireless Technologies Inc. entered an alliance to help make cellular phones more accessible for the hearing impaired.

As part of the agreement, Centurion will manufacture Myers Johnson’s Vortis antenna, which is an advanced array antenna that alleviates the RF interference people with hearing aids sometimes experience when using cellular phones. The companies said they will work together to sell and distribute the antennas.
