AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands-U.S. company Anystream said its broadcast video encoding software is in use by Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.’s third-generation subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Australia, along with Mobilkom Austria.
Anystream said it Agility software automates the process of repackaging broadcast video for use within mobile 3G services. The product extracts metadata for video clips, encodes them into dozens of formats and delivers the files to operators for network transmission.
Siemens AG includes the software in its m.traction media streaming product, Anystream said.
