PALO ALTO, Calif.-Agilent Technologies Inc. said it has sold its wireless network planning design tools known as Wizard to Setram International, a software company.
The product is a second-, 2.5- and third-generation solution that fosters network growth and manages migration to next-generation protocols.
Agilent said the deal does not vitiate its wireless business.
“The company will continue to provide a wide range of other leading wireless instrument products and services, including base station test sets, attended drive test systems and unattended drive test solutions as well as GSM/GPRS/UMTS/cdma2000 analysis tools,” said the company. “Agilent remains committed to providing leading-edge wireless OSS monitoring and management solutions.”
