LONDON-Vodafone Italy has begun a new voice conference service that allow participants to join, leave, re-join, and involve friends and colleagues through technology from Telsis. The technology allows spontaneous conferencing without pre-booking or set-up using a per-minute pricing model.
Anyone can start a conference and invite others to join. Joining participants can then issue invitations to still others. Each participant pays their own call costs and conferences continue as long as the participants want to talk rather than ending when the originator hangs up.
