Alltel Telecom integrates tracking, billing systems

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Telecom Services has integrated its Repair Tracking and Inventory system with its VirtuosoPro customer care and billing system to offer wireless operators a more complete solution.

“By integrating RTI and VirtuosoPro, we can offer wireless carriers numerous benefits that improve the bottom line,” explained Jerry Santillo, vice president of Alltel Telecom Services. “First, carriers can reduce churn by offering better customer service through more accurate repair tracking for their customers. Second, automating the repair process allows carriers to keep more accurate records of manufacturers’ warranties and repair-related inventory, thereby reducing expense.”
