LOS ANGELES-Compact Power Systems Inc. introduced its flagship product, Cellboost, which the company said is a disposable mobile-phone battery/re-charger that powers up to 60 minutes of talk time and 60 hours of standby time. The company said the charger will sell for around $10.
“Going away for business or pleasure?” said Todd Ruhalter, president of Compact Power Systems. “Throw a few Cellboosts into your pocket, purse, briefcase or luggage. And, if you travel overseas, no need to find an adapter that accepts foreign electric current; Cellboost is all you need.”
The company said Cellboost is compatible with phones from Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG, Siemens and more. It is available nationwide at retail outlets including AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, OfficeMax, Cingular Wireless, gas station convenient stores and mini-marts.
