VERNON HILLS, Ill.-Telular Corp. said it has received $25.3 million in purchase orders from Latin American wireless network operators since Sept. 1. The orders were for CDMA, TDMA and GSM/GPRS versions of the company’s Phonecell fixed cellular product, which allows telephone access via existing cellular networks using landline telephone equipment. Telular said it shipped $9.5 million of the orders in the fourth quarter of 2003 and expects to ship the rest in the first quarter of 2004.
