BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless said it has added new features to its Edocs Inc. powered My Account online account management and customer service tool that allows users to track airtime use, analyze monthly spending trends, access up to six months of billing information, change account features and set up a personal address book that translates dialed phone numbers to identifiable names on their e-bills.
Verizon Wireless noted during the past 12 months the number of customers who have signed up for its online My Account feature has doubled, and 47 percent of My Account users said in a survey that they went paperless to simplify the payment process.
