NEW YORK-Wireless enterprise company Onset Technology announced it acquired InfoClarus Inc.’s METAmessage wireless application, as well as its 1,000 METAmessage customers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Onset said more than 150 law firms across the country use METAmessage to remotely access billing records, manage case matters and use time-and-billing and customer relationship management applications. The application runs over Research In Motion Ltd.’s BlackBerry handhelds.
The move is just the latest in a series of consolidations within the wireless enterprise market.
