PISCATAWAY, N.J.-O2 GmbH & Co., a European mobile provider, selected Telcordia Technologies Inc.’s Service Director software product to help it increase operational efficiencies and profitability.
Service Director incorporates a modem service model concept that allows operators to create and manage end-to-end service level agreements. The company said the software can analyze, display and document how services, as experienced by the customer, are performing; how customers are being served; and the underlying cause of service or SLA violations.
“Service Director will help O2 embrace a customer- and service-centric perspective, resulting in opportunities for increased revenue, reduced customer churn, and, ultimately, a competitive advantage by capturing a greater share of the market,” said Terry Vega, group president of Telcordia’s Wireless, Cable and Emerging Markets division.
