BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless said it is working with Verizon Airfone to offer discounted in-flight calls to Verizon customers.
Verizon customers may register as a user on Verizon Airfone handsets. Customers can make in-flight calls for 10 cents a minute if they sign up for Airfone Service for $10 per month or for 69 cents per minute without a monthly subscription. Customers also can receive calls dialed to their wireless phone on Airfone handsets.
Verizon said standard Airfone calls are $3.99 for set-up and $3.99 per minute.
