CHICAGO-PCTel Inc. said it reached an agreement with Chrysalis Development L.L.C. to distribute a keychain-sized device that locates Wi-Fi hot spots and determines signal strength level.
The agreement calls for PCTel to distribute the product to wireless carriers. Chrysalis has filed for a patent covering the implementation and design of the product.
