NEW YORK-Manufacturing company ICT Technologies said it will build Audiovox Communications Corp.’s new clamshell CDM7600 CDMA tri-mode mobile phone starting in the second quarter. ICT said it received a partial letter of credit in the amount of $9.8 million from Audiovox for the deal.
“This order is a milestone for ICTT; it demonstrates our company’s ability to produce value-designed cellular phones efficiently and effectively, by leveraging our extensive manufacturing experience in the Far East, especially in China,” said Vasilios Koutsobinas, ICT’s chairman and chief executive officer. “It also represents the company’s transition and recognition as an important provider of telecommunication products.”
