ATLANTA-WDS Global will integrate Bitfone Corp.’s mProve 3.1 over-the-air firmware update technology into its service framework. The solution should allow carriers to configure user settings and update handset software over the air. The companies are demonstrating the solution at the CTIA Wireless show in Atlanta.
The companies say the joint solution ensures that, after point-of-sale, mobile phones remain compliant with the latest device parameters and software configurations.
