MEXICO-The Mexican government plans to auction spectrum in the 800 MHz and 1900 MHz bands this year for PCS and radio trunking services, according to the local press there. The government is also planning a satellite concession and three telecom tenders to support its e-Mexico initiative to provide Internet connectivity in community centers.
The government plans to launch the processes next month and conclude them in December.
