SAN JOSE, Calif.-Semotus Solutions, which provides software for mobile enterprise applications, deployed its HipLinkXS wireless messaging software into Dex Media, a directory publishing company being spun off from Qwest Communications.
Dex Media will use the HipLinkXS as the wireless alert notification component of its network monitoring software. The product will notify Dex Media personnel of potential events such as downed systems, slow output and application failures.
