OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-Sprint will provide wireless voice and data devices and solutions to the telecommunications services division of the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under a new two-year contract.
Sprint will provide solutions including Sprint PCS Business Connection Enterprise Edition, Sprint PCS Ready Link and Sprint PCS Data Link, allowing state agencies to access wireless services via Sprint PCS Vision Phones and Sprint PCS Connection Cards. The state Water Conservation Board and Texas Department of Public Transportation have already implemented such Sprint services.
