LONDON-Orange U.K. celebrated its 10-year anniversary in the U.K. market today. The carrier launched April 28, 1994, as the fourth entrant in an already competitive U.K. market.
Orange said it has the most U.K. customers of all the country’s wireless carriers with 13.6 million subscribers. The company, a subsidiary of France Telecom, now has operations in 19 countries and more than 49 million customers worldwide.
