OVERLAND PARK, Kan.-Sprint PCS introduced Sierra Wireless Inc.’s PC3300 connection card, the first PC Card offered by the carrier that includes its Connection Manager software, which was jointly developed with Sierra Wireless and allows customers to manage connectivity between the carrier’s CDMA2000 1x-based wide area network and Wi-Fi wireless local area networks.
The card, which is compatible with laptop computers using Microsoft Corp.’s Windows 98SE/2000.ME/XP or Tablet XP operating systems, is available for $230.
