HELSINKI, Finland-Orange France has launched “pre-commercial” third-generation service in Toulouse, France, according to Nokia Corp., which supplied the network equipment. Toulouse is the carrier’s first pilot city to begin 3G services and the first pre-commercial 3G launch in France.
Nokia said that in coming weeks, launches of Nokia-supplied networks in other regions of France and in the United Kingdom will take place.
