LISBON, Portugal-Hewlett-Packard Co. and WeDo Consulting announced an alliance to provide revenue assurance solutions in Latin America.
The companies said they will provide mobile and fixed operators solutions designed to strengthen handset subsidization fraud analysis, revenue leakage detection, roaming and collections management, dealer incentives and customer knowledge.
“With the softening of the market in the last years, many operators invested behind new services that did not provide the appropriate return on investment,” said Claudio Rangel, industry manager for telecommunications at HP Latin America. “Now they realize that just by improving internal processes/business support systems, they can obtain very significant financial returns, at low investment levels.”
