LAFAYETTE, Calif.-Nationwide angel investor network Keiretsu Forum said it will make an investment to support the Sept. 1 launch of mobile messaging software company Voice Genesis Inc.’s Vemail service, which will allow downloadable software to cell phones via distributors and wireless carriers.
Voice Genesis recently completed $650,000 in bridge funding and is scheduled to complete its Series A round of financing by the fourth quarter of this year.
In addition to over-the-air capabilities, Voice Genesis said Vemail will provide a combination voice/visual interface for e-mail that will allow users to access their existing e-mail accounts and download e-mail to their phones, visually read through messages and then speak responses.
