SHENZHEN, China-Cisco Systems Inc. said it has agreed to do away with its copyright lawsuit against Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.
Both companies announced Sept. 30, 2003, a plan to review the litigation. 3Com, which has a joint venture with Huawei, was part of the review process, although it was not joined in the lawsuit.
“Huawei is extremely pleased that the litigation between Cisco and Huawei is now ended and looks forward to continuing to compete on the merits of the products from its joint venture with 3Com,” said the company.
