SAN JOSE, Calif.-Global Locate Inc. said it has introduced a single package assisted global positioning system product known as Stingray, which incorporates the company’s IndoorGPS baseband and radio frequency technology with passive components.
The company describes the product as a system-in-package, or SIP.
“As a single package solution, Stingray reduces the design, layout, manufacturing and testing resources required to integrate A-GPS into a mobile terminal,” said the company.
