SANTA MONICA, Calif.-Boingo Wireless and Greek Internet service provider OTEnet S.A. have partnered to connect dozens of Wi-Fi hot spots in Greece via the Boingo Roaming System for visitors to the Olympic Summer Games kicking off there next week.
Through the partnership, all Boingo users and users of the company’s carrier partners, including EarthLink, Fiberlink, Infonet Services Corp. and Telecom Italia, can get online for no extra charge at the OTEnet OnWireless Wi-Fi hot spots. Locations include the Athens International Airport, Macedonia National Airport and hotels and conference centers throughout Greece. Nonsubscribers can also get access for $8 per day.
