COSTA MESA, Calif.-The CDMA Development Group said the number of CDMA2000 subscribers has exceeded 100 million worldwide. The technology is used by 89 operators in 45 countries, with 36 more launches scheduled by year-end. The group said the rapid uptake can be contributed to the quick global deployment of CDMA2000 networks, the availability of a wide range of devices and high demand for data services.
